Economic Development Administration R.E.A.C.H. Contract Awarded to CSRS. A Westwood Company


The Baton Rouge Health District has closed the Request for Proposals opportunity for the Regional Economic Acceleration through Coordinated Health Infrastructure (R.E.A.C.H.) Gateway Infrastructure Enhancement Project. The Health District awarded a project/grant administration services contract and an Architect/Engineer (A/E) contract to CSRS, A Westwood Company, to perform the requested services outlined below.


The Baton Rouge Health District's Economic Development Administration. R.E.A.C.H. (Regional Economic Acceleration through Coordinated Health Infrastructure) Gateway Infrastructure Enhancement Project is a $3.4 million federal construction grant aimed at infrastructure upgrades in the Health District such as improved signage, intersection enhancements, and monument gateways.


To achieve the objectives of this project, BRHD completed a competitive bid process to identify a firm or vendor with experience in federal construction grants and compliance to manage the project/grant administration services and/or A/E services for R.E.A.C.H. CSRS, A Westwood Company was competitively procured and selected in accordance with the procurement standards outlined in 2 CFR Part 200, and according to the EDA publication "Summary of Construction Standards".
